Fearless Predictions

• It is almost a foregone conclusion that the Bucks will screw up this pick and take Spencer Hawes. How can you not take a guy who will follow in the line of great tall slow white guys like Paul Mokeski, Jack Sikma and Larry Krystowiak?
• The Hawks will do the wrong thing. It is almost impossible to understand, but their ownership is even more screwed up than the hockey club with the same name. It is completely obvious that the Hawks should take Conley at 3, and the best available at 11. But they'll probably take yet another Forward and take Acie Law or trade for Jose Calderon wit the 11th pick. This will force them to trade Marvin Williams for no significant immediate help.
  
• If Garnett gets traded, it happens tonight.
• If Kobe gets traded, it won't happen until after 7/1. The only team he will be traded to is the Bulls, and even then, it will be for pennies on the dollar. So, in other words, Kobe won't be traded either.
