Chad Johnson, paying for the sins of Carl Pickens

A few NFL noteworthy issues:

1. The Benglas are still irritated over Carl Pickens and Corey Dillon. You'd think they would figure out the one commonality in all these cases and change their culture. Turning down a 1&3 or better is not making this a better team. They should be able to get a 1&3 this year and be ecstatic. He's not worth that much.

2. ViQueens trade their 1 and two 3s to Chefs for a guy with 2 DUIs and this close to an extension. I wonder what the over under is for weeks till he gets another DUI or ends up beating his wife or is on a party boat. They'll have a great DLine, but this is still a stupid move.

3. Alexander. I think he gets signed by the Iggles or sits for a long time. Too many good cheap backs in the 2-4 round this year.

4. Based on the Chefs acquiring #17, people think they'll take a DLineman at 5 (Gholston?). But the seriously scary thing is with all those picks, the Chefs are armed to trade ahead of the Bears, Panthers and Brroncos. I am pretty convinced that none of the top OL will be there at 14. Angelo is not a guy who likes to trade up. But he put himself into a corner by not signing any of the FA OL. If he doesn't trade up, he almost has to look at trading out of Round 1. Atlanta (34, 37).

That would give him the ability to take one of the 2nd tier OTs, a RB, and a QB in Rd2. That's his style. What he SHOULD do is trade up to ensure he gets Williams, Otah, Clady or Albert.
