Sox Hitters

After two weeks of the season, the White Sox have these batters hitting well below their career averages:

Thome-.171
Uribe-.184
Cabrera-.225
Konerko-.229

What are they going to do?!

Oh wait, they are leading the America League in runs scored. This is a prime example of why you just need one or two players at a time to carry the team and have a high team OBP to give you chances. Having Swisher get on base is huge as he leads the Sox with the second-best team OBP in the A.L.

This also shows how in 2007, when everyone slumped at the same times plus some costly early-season injuries with Pods and Thome took a big toll.

Kenny, let's keep winning and watch the haters kiss your feet.

but...but...he gave up Chris Carter...lol

You see Phil Rogers today bringing up Chris Young? The Sox trade away 25 prospects get all kinds of value.

One of them turns into something particularly relevant, and Phil Rogers won't ever let it go.
