Marquis is doing what the Cubs signed him to do...eat up innings and win some games. After yesterday, he has 10 wins and should finish with at least 14 with 8 starts to go.
If Marquis helps the Cubs win a series in the playoffs, he's a good sign. Otherwise, he's not reliable enough to justify the money.
