Greetings and Salutations.

I’m one of those people. Sports are a little too important to me. I have to stop myself from using sports analogies. It’s only been recently that my mood is not associated with the success of my teams. I only have two radio stations programmed in my car radio: ESPN and The Score.

I am generally annoyed at the state of sports coverage for the teams that I follow (Bears, Bulls and White Sox). You can find much better analysis and insight on message boards than you can on the major media sites. The media will spend three pages on whether or not Rex should be benched, and not mention a crucial missed tackle. They’ll go on and on about the Bulls slow start, but not provide the obvious counterpoint that the Bulls turned over half their roster, and had a brutal opening schedule.

So besides providing me a place to organize my rambles, I’m hoping to give some devil’s advocate perspective to Chicago Sports.
